Description
A small amount of Airedale NHS (ANHSFT) Orthopaedic patients will be treated by the Yorkshire Clinic in a subcontracted arrangement. • Patients who have been long waiters that require general/regional/local anaesthetic day case/inpatient orthopaedics surgery procedures. • Patients referred must be treated by their 65 week breach date or within the month of breaching. • Procedures to be completed within 8 weeks of referral. Patients must be treated ahead of their 65 week breach date or in the month of breaching (Priority - P2, P3 & P4) • Pre-operative patient assessments (telephone and face to face as required) including COVID testing as applicable. • Post operation follow-up and wound check, this includes post operative physiotherapy- 2 appointments are covered by IP tariff. Any additional appointments would be agreed with ANHSFT to either return to ANHSFT physiotherapy or remain at YC and recharge to Trust at National Tariff

The Authority intends to award a contract to an existing provider following Direct Award Process C under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). The service will provide Orthopaedic surgery services for the period from 01/08/2024 to 31/07/2025.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
