Other Information
The B2G DPS operates alongside all B2G frameworks, whose 'dynamic open' format enable contract assignment of projects in whole or part to specialist suppliers registered on the B2G DPS, who then contract with the authority and deliver those elements under the auspices of the framework supplier, and compliant with the specification, standards and regulations set out in the framework documents. This facility optimises project procurement, delivery, risk management and control. To this end, roofing projects and or programmes can be awarded to the framework supplier - all of whom are pitched roofing contractors - to deliver the roofing works and oversee the roofing programme, whilst the solar elements can be assigned to the RE tech specialist registered on the B2G DPS, who is better to suited to manage those solar PV elements from design through network connection. RE tech specialists are invited to register for the DPS at any time. Whilst this framework will not seek to limit the choice and source of any products procured through it, given historic usage patterns and thus likelihood their products will feature in client specifications, it's been prepared with the active input and co-operation of system suppliers including Redland, Marley, Sandtoft, Cedral, Britmet, Langley and Metrotile, with a view to facilitating the procurement of projects where their roofing and solar products are being installed. The framework's initial duration is 12 months with automatic renewal of equal periods, and in accordance with the framework terms and conditions new suppliers may apply and be appointed at any time subject to meeting the same evaluation criteria as the original appointees. Gold Hill HA has appointed B2G to manage frameworks that help contracting authorities across the UK to build and maintain property and, in so doing, deliver commercial and social value. Any publicly funded organisation and or contracting authority in the United Kingdom as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and or the Public Contracts Directive 2014 including but not limited to any central government department, agency, devolved administration and or national/non-departmental public body or any local authority, unitary authority, or subsidiary or joint-venture vehicle of a local or unitary authority, or any arms-length management organisation or council owned company, or any school, college, university, education trust or authority, or any transport authority or service provider, or any health authority, council, board or trust, or any police, fire, rescue or emergency service, or any housing association, registered social landlord or tenant management organisation or any registered charity may access B2G frameworks or DPS as a Buyer, as may any private sector organisation, particularly those established by public sector organisations to deliver public services.
