***This advert is for market engagement only***NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board intends to undertake a procurement process for the provision of community health services, including adults and children’s services, excluding mental health and UTC services. The commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to support market engagement only at this stage.

Total Quantity or Scope

NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board intends to undertake a procurement process for the provision of community health services, including adults and children’s services, excluding mental health and UTC services. The contract duration is expected to be 5 years with up to a 3-year extension option.The objective of this engagement is to help the commissioner finalise the service models, financial model, and procurement strategy including lot configuration. Providers are invited to attend a market engagement event which will focus on the service models/specifications (adults and children’s), financial models and an overview of the proposed procurement process. (NB The in scope services list will be made available at the engagement event.)The event is scheduled for 7th August @ 1:30 – 2:30pm at Maidstone Museum, St Faiths Street, Maidstone, ME14 1LH, for a maximum of two representatives per organisation. Providers will also be invited to schedule 1:1 meetings with the commissioner following the event. Further details will be communicated to registered providers.Providers are asked to complete a short questionnaire as part of the registration process.The service that this Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates is within scope of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). The Commissioner(s) and AGCSU are bound only by the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 do not apply. The Commissioner does not bind itself to commencing or running any public procurement procedure further to, or as a result of, this market engagement. Any subsequent procurement, if undertaken, will be commenced by way of a separate call for competition via a relevant notice published in Find a Tender.
