Requirement in detail: An integrated Multidisciplinary team (MDT) meeting overseen by a medical Consultant which can address the physical, psychological and social aspects of care for people living with a long-term condition. Job Role: Qualifications and Professional Experience Essential: • MB BS or equivalent• Full Registration with GMC licence to practice• Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians.• Wide experience in all aspects of General (Internal) Medicine and Respiratory medicine culminating in the award of CCT• Evidence of participation in leadership/ management• Solid understanding of Clinical Governance• Effective communicator, able to work and lead a multi-disciplinary team.• Ability to work with colleagues in other specialities to develop local services. Desirable:• Experience of clinical research culminating in presentation and publication of original studies, being able to review articles, etc, as relevant to speciality.• Ability to lead clinical research project• Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills.• Appropriate educational qualification• Extensive teaching experience• Service Requirements: Consultant MDT SessionAn integrated Multidiciplinary team (MDT) meeting overseen by a medical Consultant is needed which can address the physical, psychological and social aspects of care for people living with a long-term condition.
