Description

Folkestone and Hythe District Council ("FHDC") wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier to install and maintain passenger shelters across the district in exchange for the supplier's exclusive right to sell advertising on their equipment - and invites prospective suppliers to submit a Tender to meet the Council's requirements. FHDC requires a total of 49 shelters to be installed across the district and the supplier/concessionaire will provide repair, maintenance, and cleaning services - free of charge. The supplier/concessionaire will retain ownership of the equipment and exclusive rights to sell advertising on the equipment. The anticipated total value of the concession contract is anticipated to be in excess of £5,500,000 GBP for the maximum 15 years - however, we do not currently have sufficient information to make a proper estimate of the contract value. The contract is anticipated to start 1 December 2024 and continue for a period of 10 years (with the option to extend for a further period (or periods) of a minimum of 3 years up to a maximum of 5 years).
