Description
Children and Young People's Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service in Wirral The Children's Emotional Health and Wellbeing Transformation project is a partnership project between Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council (WMBC) and Wirral Place ICB. The project has brought the Emotional Health and Wellbeing Services in Wirral together to provide a single route to access support in Wirral and make it easier for children and young people to get the support they need when they need it. The service will provide support emotional health and wellbeing services for 0-18s with a GP in Wirral and/or resident in Wirral. This includes key functions such as a Single Point of Access, a digital platform, marketing and communications, as well as direct support services for children, young people and their parents/carers.

The procurement was an open procedure conducted under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The service started on the 1st of April 2024 and will expire on 31st March 2029 with an option to extend for a further two years.

NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU has worked with NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB to commission a new model of Children's Emotional Health & Wellbeing provision in Wirral via a competitive procurement process. This procurement was for Social and other specific services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations('Regulations') http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2015/102/schedul e/3/made (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2015/102/schedule/3/m ade) . The procedure which the Contracting Authority followed was set out in the procurement documents.
