The objective of the resulting project is to ensure that NWP is supplied with the necessary equipment, servicing, and training for our unmanned aircraft operations.

Legal Justification

1 – disruption through the process of establishing new working relationships with the account manager in a new provider 2 – disruption and delay caused by establishing new processes and communications for maintenance/servicing 3 – disruption and delay caused by establishing new relationships with the company as a training provider and familiarisation with their training programmes and content/online portals etc. 4 – disruption and delays caused by setting up new communications channels and procedures between our finance teams and a new company 5 – risk of significant delay to the drone unit acquiring equipment that has been planned as budgeted for in 24/25, which we anticipated actioning now. Any tender process, which may take a number of months will cause a delay in progressing this equipment plan, to the detriment of the service provided by the drone unit. 6 – we also risk moving to a new provider and finding that they are not as good in some or all of these areas and risk receiving a reduced quality of service and relationship. Although I accept that a good relationship with other companies would be possible, we have no dissatisfaction with Heliguy, therefore there is no reason to risk losing this.
