Description

The current re-procurement has taken longer than anticipated due to a rewind in the process. The current contract with the incumbent expires on 30th September and as a consequence there is a requirement to award a short term contract whilst the procurement concludes. THe new contract will be from 1st October 2024 to 31st March 2025.

Total Quantity or Scope

The current Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) Contract to provide the services to patients at Forest Surgery will expire on 30th September 2024. The Urgent Award to the existing provider is to ensure that there is continued provision of Primary Medical Services to the registered population of Forest Surgery in Brandon whilst the procurement in place to award a new contract is concluded. There is a requirement to award a new short term contract of six months from the 1st October 2024 to 31st March 2025.
