Description
We are looking for suppliers to tender for a flight simulator with flight instructor training capabilities. The device must meet the following requirements: Instructor Operating Station (IOS) Capabilities: Ergonomically designed IOS with intuitive software for manipulating aircraft systems and failures. Customizable event triggers based on time, airspeed, altitude, or combinations thereof. Accuracy and Realism of Airport Models: Highly accurate airport models with correctly placed runways, taxiways, buildings, and detailed signage. Features such as dynamic jet ways, support vehicles, pushback capability, and aircraft traffic are preferred. System Simulation and Integration: Detailed systems simulation for training in normal, abnormal, and emergency scenarios across all phases of ground and flight operations. Global Database and Mission Capability: A comprehensive global database reflecting real-world landscapes, structures, and hazards. Support for familiarisation with new airports and flight plans, including departure, arrival, and approach procedures. Compliance with Real-World Training Requirements: Utilisation of factory Flight Crew Operating Manuals, checklists, and Quick Reference Handbooks. Evidence of the device's accuracy and its effectiveness in real-world training scenarios. Deliverables include a fully functional training device with comprehensive documentation on IOS functionalities, airport model accuracy, systems simulation, and global database features, demonstrating compliance with real-world training requirements.
