Description
VEAT notice - Alemba is the core system that supports the Business Services function. The system is used to provide self service capability to log details of faults or requests for support from the business services functions. The capability covers faults and support for IT, HR, Payroll, Finance and Inventory. Additional development of the system for the HR, Payroll, Finance and Inventory functions is required to expand the capabilities of the system to meet our requirements. This additional development will take the contract value over PCR 2015 thresholds hence this VEAT notice.

Other Information
It is our intention for this VEAT notice to be linked to a 10 day standstill period which will commence on Saturday 14th September 2024 (that being the day after this notice is issued) and the period will end at midnight at the end of Monday 23rd September 2024. The PCC intends to sign a contract variation with the supplier on Tuesday 24th September 2024 subject to the ending of the standstill period.
