Description

Scottish Ministers are seeking to establish a framework for the provision of Client Devices and associated services to the Scottish Public Sector. The new framework will build on the success of two existing frameworks - the Mobile Client Devices Framework and the Desktop Client Devices Framework.

Total Quantity or Scope

Scottish Procurement will soon be tendering for the re-let of the National Framework for Mobile Client Devices (Laptops, Mobile Workstations, associated accessories and services). We intend to explore incorporating the scope of the Desktop Client Devices Framework (Desktops, Monitors, Fixed Workstations, associated accessories and services) into the new framework to bring additional benefits to the Framework Public Bodies. Work has commenced in the development of procurement strategy options for the Framework. Scottish Procurement recognises the value of suppliers and industry bodies having the opportunity to contribute to this process on a non-competitive, non-judgemental basis. The Scottish Procurement ICT Products team would like to engage with the market and collate supplier views on the Framework structure, scope and commercial model. To assist with this, Scottish Procurement has drafted a Request for Information (RfI) and suppliers and other interested parties are encouraged to read, complete and return the RfI attached to this notice and provide their views/comments to Dawn Swan (dawn.swan@gov.scot) by midday on Monday 7th October 2024. Following receipt of the completed RfI, Scottish Procurement may engage directly with interested suppliers to obtain further market intelligence. Scottish Government and the Scottish Ministers shall have no liability for any costs, however incurred, by those attending any information days, attendance at meetings or involvement in the proposed procurement process.
