Description

Provision of statutory Initial Health Assessments (IHAs) for Children looked after (CLA) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC) across North Yorkshire & York (NY & Y) by a qualified and experienced medical practitioner in line with statutory guidance. The Initial Health Assessments (IHAs) will clinically assess a child's physical, emotional, mental health needs and seek to establish any future health and care requirements.

Provision of statutory Initial Health Assessments (IHAs) for Children looked after (CLA) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeker Children (UASC) across North Yorkshire & York (NY & Y) by a qualified and experienced medical practitioner in line with statutory guidance. The Initial Health Assessments (IHAs) will clinically assess a child's physical, emotional, mental health needs and seek to establish any future health and care requirements. NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Approximate lifetime value of the contract is £260,000. Contract term 4 October 2024 to 3 October 2025 (contract term may be extended by 1 year to 3 October 2026).

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by Providers must be made to decision makers by 23:59hrs 3 October 2024. Provider representations in relation to this intention to award notice should be submitted in writing to hnyicb.procurement@nhs.net This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
