Description

The Council is looking to let the office building named Elsfield Hall at Elsfield Way, Oxford owing to the current tenant leaving the property in June 2024. Dilapidations is ongoing with our Property Management team. A letting agent is required to firstly advise on letting prospects and the estimated rental income and secondly to market the property and secure a satisfactory tenant. The work is envisaged to include the following but not be limited to: • Providing an initial report advising on current market conditions, achievable lease terms, target tenants and agreeing on appropriate strategy for letting • Producing marketing material and proceeding to market the property • Carrying out viewings and liasing with potentially interested parties • Reporting on interest at regular intervals and upon request including creation of evaluation matrix comparing interest in consultation with Oxford City Council officers • Recommend a preferred party after a suitable period of marketing and agree heads of terms • Provision of S123 Local Government Act 1972 advice report as to how best consideration is obtained and input into necessary Council committee reports as required • Liaise with all parties during negotiation of legal documents to ensure the transaction proceeds through to completion • Compliance with GDPR regulations is required with all data provided to and by the Council
