Description
Swansea council are tendering for the hire of 3 nr NEW 35-26D 4X4 JCB Teletruks or equivalent type/model machines with attachments for long term for use at the waste transfer site. These vehicles will be replacement for our existing teletruks on a like for like basis. The anticipated running hours each Teletruk is 30 hours per week, 1,500 hours annually. Tenderers are invited to visit site to see our operations to ensure vehicle proposed will be fit for purpose. Service required at 500 hours, hirer to email at least 48 hours before to arrange site visit to carry out maintenance. A demo vehicle will be required for the plant specified to ensure it fits our operational needs. Machine to be supplied with solid Tyres, the replacement of worn tyres lies with the supplier. Cost to be built into overall hire costs.

Tenderers are required to submit specification sheets for all vehicles and attachments proposed. All defects to be rectified within 24 hours. In event of mechanical failure, hirer will attempt to repair machine within 24 hours, or supply an alternative machine within 48 hours. Express an interest in the project: — Login to the portal with your username/password. — Click the “ITTs Open to All Suppliers” link (these are the ITTs open to any registered supplier). — Click on the relevant ITT to access the content. — Click the “Express Interest” button in the “Actions” box on the left-hand side of the page. — This will move the ITT into your “My ITTs” page (this is a secure area reserved for your projects only). — Click on the ITT code. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box. 3. Responding to the invitation to tender: — You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting). — You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification. — Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT. — There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).
