Description
The service will be fully integrated into the Ridgeway Secure Inpatient care system, supporting service users who require a stepped care psychological intervention ranging from Step 1 to Step 3. The service will provide 4 WTE (Whole time Equivalent) qualified staff to deliver the service. Staff will be co-located on the wards providing a regular presence to both patients and ward teams. Staff will be required to cover several wards each, ensuring time is allocated proportionately to meet ward need. Referrals for both individual and group work will be managed via the Ridgeway Psychology Team.
Total Quantity or Scope
The Procurement will provide an integrated psychological intervention service to service users across all of TEWV's commissioned health and Justice services meeting the needs of ward staff and patients providing an effective and clinically safe service alleviating ward pressures on TEWV staff. The provider staff are fully integrated in to TEWV teams ensuring seamless referral. This is an extension/continuation of existing services delivered within our Health and Justice services. The contract will be awarded to and existing provider following Direct award process C. The contract will be delivered for a period of 3 years from October 24 to October 27.
