Description

Gosport Borough Council is inviting contractors to submit a tender for the provision of community skips/bulky waste service to be provided at specific locations throughout the borough, which includes Gosport and Lee-on-the-Solent as set out in the tender pack.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Council is committed to provide a free bulky waste disposal service for its residents within ward boundaries throughout the borough on a bi-weekly basis, this service having been provided since 2022. The Contractor must accept that there shall be flexibility on the dates, durations and regularity of the events to be determined by the Council. The Council requires skips and containers delivered to the agreed locations and shall be suitable for the following waste types: 1. General waste. 2. Waste electrical & Electronic equipment (WEEE) 3. Metal 4. Construction/building 5. Wood 6. Foliage/green waste 7. Waste Upholstered Domestic Seating (WUDS) 8. Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPS)

Renewal Options

This contract includes an option to extend for 2 years.
