These Services will engage People in a range of appropriate activities delivered by the Service Provider or through additional agencies. Services may also provide welfare and wellbeing support which may consist of a range of interventions to reduce social isolation and maximise independence among those accessing the Service. Day Opportunities are predominantly focussed around cohorts of vulnerable people in local communities. For the purposes of this Lot Day Opportunities for individuals with a learning disability are excluded. It is anticipated that this Lot will be used for future demand for Day Opportunities that are unable to be met through other Lots of this Specification, e.g., people with acquired brain injury or mental health support needs or if need arises for a block contract call off and Providers will be invited to participate in a mini competition as detailed in Appendix 12b. |
