Description

This notice is for market engagement and exploration for Planned, Preventative and Reactive Maintenance services for WWU sites across Wales and West of England. It is vitally important that WWU selects the right organisations to provide the exceptional level of performance that will be required to meet the challenges ahead. As this tender incorporates various aspects of our business it is vital that the supplier(s) who are awarded the contract have similar philosophies to us and understand the importance of health, safety, environment, and continual improvement to our ongoing business. The PPM services WWU requires include maintenance of electrical, heating, and water systems at twenty-six (26) sites that cover the whole of the Wales & West Region. For example Torquay, Llandarcy. The service will also include reactive work to maintain all site assets and undertake repair work.

Total Quantity or Scope

WWU Procurement Department intends to undertake market engagement activities to explore the market and comprehend how PPM services are currently structured from a range of suppliers. This will include capturing information from companies to understand the geographic area that potential firms can cover. The sessions will be comprised of informal face to face market engagement sessions hosted at Wales & West Utilities Ltd, Wales & West House, Spooner Close, Celtic Springs, Newport, NP10 8FZ. Virtual sessions can be arranged upon request, though face-to-face will be preferred. The knowledge gained from all sessions shall contribute towards the approach to the tender. The sessions will be held during Week Commencing 18th November 2024 and the market engagement sessions will offer an opportunity for WWU Representatives to explain the requirement further and obtain knowledge from participants. The tender will be published via Achilles UVDB on a Qualification System Notice (QSN). All suppliers who wish to participate in the tender will need be registered members of the system. WWU will be using Achilles UVDB to publish the Qualification System Notice to advertise the tender. All interested parties who wish to participate in the tender must be members to potentially qualify as bidders.
