Description
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) announces the Contracting Authority's intention to establish a Heating, Electrical, and Decarbonisation Framework. This framework will replace the current provision and will cover a wide range of services related to Heating, Electrical systems, Retrofit and Decarbonisation within the public sector. The expected tender release date is mid-November 2024. The Framework will be divided into six lots, enabling the selection of CPV codes, regions, and financial capacity criteria. As a framework agreement, the expected expenditure is set at 1GBP, with a maximum capacity of 90 million GBP. All public sector bodies listed in the latest classification guide by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) will have access to the Framework. This includes government departments, local authorities, educational institutions, healthcare organisations, and other public sector entities covered by the ONS classification. Lot Division
1 | Heating and Electrical Services Combined Lot 1 is specifically designed for contractors capable of delivering a full range of Domestic, Commercial, Low Carbon, Electrical, Decarbonisation , Retrofit and Water inspection services. Contractors under this lot will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and compliance of various systems within public sector buildings, including but not limited to residential properties, commercial facilities, and low-carbon technology installations. Services may also include electrical and water systems inspections to ensure compliance with current regulations and standards. This framework is designed to support public sector bodies across a variety of sectors, including government departments, local authorities, healthcare organisations, and educational institutions. The framework will offer flexibility through the selection of CPV codes, regional coverage, and financial capacity, with a total maximum contract value of 90 million GBP across all lots. 2 | Commercial and District Heating Lot 2 of the Heating, Electrical, and Decarbonisation Framework is designed for contractors who specialise in Commercial and District Heating Systems.
