Description

The London Borough of Haringey is seeking to commission short term (2 years) supported accommodation and Housing First provision for young people aged 18 to 25 years of age. Services will focus on building young people's resilience, by preparing them for independent living and the transition to adulthood. This will reduce the potential for repeat homelessness and long-term reliance on statutory services. This supports the Council in delivering Theme 3: of the Corporate Delivery Plan 'Children and young people' - Successful Futures - Every young person, whatever their background, has a pathway to success for the future. The Services will be procured in 4 separate Lots as outline below: Lot 1- Generic Visiting Support Lot 2- Unaccompanied Asylum-Seekers Lot3 - Young Women's Service Lot 4- Housing First for Care leavers

Lot Division

1 Generic Visiting Support

The Council is seeking to commission approximately 10 units of supported accommodation across a number of dispersed buildings in Haringey to vulnerable young people between the age of 18 to 25.

2 Unaccompanied Asylum-Seekers

The council is seeking to commission approximately 26 units of supported accommodation for Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers (UASC) between the age of 18 to 25.

3 Young Women's Service

The Council is seeking to commission approximately 8-10 units of supported accommodation to vulnerable young women between the age of 18 to 25.

4 Housing First for Carers

In line with the Housing First Principles, the council is seeking to commission 10 units to Care Leavers with complex and multiple needs aged between 18-25.
