Description
The service will be an integrated referral system delivered alongside TEWV's Darlington Mental Health Peer Support Project. A parent led forum made up of parents of children and young people ages 0-25 with Special Educational Needs and or Disabilities. The Mental Health Peer Support Project proposal has been developed in partnership with parent carers. The service will provide peer support to parents through a confidential, listening, and supportive group. One of the strengths of parent carer forums is they have autonomy in how they listen and gain feedback from and work to engage with parents and carers. Working with the MHST clinician's the service will ensure best outcomes for the families supported providing an early intervention and prevention service alongside mainstream secondary services.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 25th October 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR'.
