Description
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) contract award notice following a competitive process for a LeDeR review service. The contract period is 2nd of September 2024 to 1st of September 2027 with an option to extend for a further 2 years 1st of September 2029. This is a Provider Selection (PSR) Contract Notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Healthcare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
Total Quantity or Scope
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice following a competitive process for a LeDeR review service for Bristol North Somerset & South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board (ICB). Learning from Lives and Deaths, people with a learning disability and autistic people (LeDeR) is a service improvement initiative which aims to improve care, reduce health inequalities and prevent premature mortality of people over the age of 18 with a learning disability and autistic people by reviewing information about the health and social care support people received. Every person with a learning disability who is registered with a GP in BNSSG whose death is notified to LeDeR will have an initial review of the health and social care they received prior to their death. The contract period is 2nd of September 2024 to 1st of September 2027 with an option to extend for a further 2 years until the 1st of September 2029.
