Description

The Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) provides a clinical telephony service to assist in the management of urgent care demand within the health and care system. Linked to the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) programme, the service will provide a CAS as part of its core function, ensuring additional clinical input into the NHS 111 service, and acting as a key entry point into local urgent care services.

The Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) provides a clinical telephony service to assist in the management of urgent care demand within the health and care system. Linked to the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) programme, the service will provide a CAS as part of its core function, ensuring additional clinical input into the NHS 111 service, and acting as a key entry point into local urgent care services. Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB are intending to award a contract to the existing provider following direct award process C. The service will be provided between 1st November 2024 and 31st May 2026 with a contract value of £2,061,386
