Description

Solihull Council currently commissions information and advice support, which is delivered from the Core in Solihull, the Bluebell Centre in Chelmsley Wood, by phone and online. These are called our Community Advice Hubs. The Community Advice Hub provides universal services with the focus on maintaining independence, good health and promoting wellbeing. This will include, but not be limited to: • Self-help tools • signposting on a wide range of issues including: o public health services, o health and wellbeing information & advice, o leisure services, o employment and education, o relationships, o legal, o consumer, o travel, o immigration and discrimination, o general debt advice, o Disability benefits and financial advice, o Fast track triage people through to Level 2 specialist services. The Council wants to engage with the market to help inform the shape of future procurements to secure the right capacity to meet local needs in the future. We propose a market testing exercise to help with this.
