Description

The scope of this Framework is to cover Blood Collection Sets​, Blood Collection Needles (Safety and Standard) ​, Blood Culture Systems with Initial Specimen Diversion Device, Blood Culture Bottles, Blood Culture Packs, Blood Sample Tubes​, Blood Gas Syringes​, Support Products​, and Associated Products. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure for this Framework will be circa £61,000,000 GBP in the first year of the this Framework Agreement. If the Framework Agreement is extended to the maximum duration, the anticipated expenditure will be circa £244,000,000. However these are approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.

Total Quantity or Scope

Blood collection devices which include Blood Collection Sets​, Blood Collection Needles (Safety and Standard) ​, Blood Culture Systems with Initial Specimen Diversion Device, Blood Culture Packs, Blood Sample Tubes​, Blood Gas Syringes​, Support Products​, and Associated Products. Additional information: Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £61m in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement.

Renewal Options

This Framework Agreement will have the option to extend up to a total duration no longer than 48 months.
