Description
NHS Supply Chain intends to launch a National Framework Agreement which encompasses the provision of Advanced Angiography Diagnostic Equipment and associated accessories, including but not limited to imaging Systems, Cath Lab Tools, and Specialized Diagnostic Software. Additionally, the scope of the agreement covers related services essential to the operation and maintenance of the equipment, such as comprehensive Managed Services to support lifecycle management, and provision of Mobile and Relocatable Catheterization Laboratories to ensure continuity and flexibility of diagnostic services. This procurement will result in the establishment of a Framework Agreement, through which suppliers can be engaged to provide high-quality angiography equipment and associated services. This will facilitate access to imaging technology and expert support, optimizing diagnostic capabilities across various healthcare settings. Precise quantities are unknown. Estimated value over the total Framework Agreement term would be £600,000,000 over a 2+1+1 year term.

This Lot will also cover the provision of related services such as training, turnkey arrangements between trusts & the equipment providers and warranty of equipment. Other Information
The Framework Agreement will be between NHS Supply Chain and the Supplier, however 1) NHS Supply Chain, 2) any NHS Trust; 3) any other NHS entity; 4) any government department, agency or other statutory body and/or 5) any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector will be able to enter into a direct contract with the Supplier for any of the supplies and/or services under the Framework. The Supplier will be required to report and pay a direct contract management fee to NHS Supply Chain which will be detailed in the tender documents at the tender publication stage. The invitation to tender will be the subject of a separate notice and it is that notice to which potential suppliers will need to respond at the appropriate time. The following certification will be a requirement of the upcoming tender exercise and Applicants may be required to include evidence of this within their tender submission: - ISO 9001: 2015 or BS EN ISO 13485:2016 accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (or international equivalent) to cover all segments of the Applicant’s and the product’s supply chain. This should include, but not be limited to, manufacturing, storage and distribution.
