The Pharmacy departing is currently reviewing the uncertainty about how best to use long-term antibiotics in people with Bronchiectasis to reduce the risk of future exacerbations.Although guidelines are consistent in recommending azithromycin as the prophylactic antibiotic of choice, there are distinct differences between them, notably in eligibility criteria for azithromycin chemoprophylaxis, dose, and duration of treatment.
