Description

On the 26th November 2024, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) in partnership with the Integrated Care Board for Gloucestershire, are hosting an online market engagement event, to advertise two separate upcoming tender processes for Sexual Violence services within the county.The event will be hosted via Microsoft Teams between 9.30am and 11am and will be an opportunity for potential future suppliers to find out more about the current support landscape for victims of sexual violence within Gloucestershire and the scope of the future service offers.

Total Quantity or Scope

The first service is for Gloucestershire’s Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) service commissioned by the OPCC. The service currently employs a range of staff including, ISVA’s CHISVA’s and Specialist Support workers. The ISVA service is open to all victims of sexual violence and provides practical and emotional support for anyone currently accessing, or considering reporting an incident to, the criminal justice system. The current contract is due to cease on the 31st July 2025.The second service is the re-tender of Sexual Assault and Abuse Therapeutic Services for adults and children aged 8 and under, living in Gloucestershire. The new service commissioned by Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board will offer a range of support for all adults, children 8 years and under including parents and carers, regardless of when any assault or abuse took place. The current contracts are due to cease on the 31st July 2025.The market engagement for both services will be run as one event, as part of a collaboration between Gloucestershire OPCC and NHS ICB. However, each Authority will run their own tender process separately for their respective service.
