Location

United Kingdom: The Authority would like blended learning for students which will include both online and face to face delivery. Face to face delivery can take place at Northamptonshire Police facilities where available but will otherwise be at locations within the Force area or at no further than 20 miles by road from Northamptonshire Police Force Headquarters.

Description

Northamptonshire Police are looking for a partner Higher Education Institute to co deliver the PCDA. The value of the contract includes the price being paid to the HEI plus the amount that will come back to the Force under a sub contract for the on the job training element of the apprenticeship. The Force will give a presentation to potential suppliers on 27th November 2024 where we will further outline our specific requirements and explain how the procurement process will work. The aim of this session is to seek feedback on our requirements to further develop our specification in readiness for the tender process.

Total Quantity or Scope

The procurement is for the co delivery of the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship. Northamptonshire Police will deliver the on the job training element. Additional information: The Authority may wish to further develop the provision in the future to consider roles such as PCSO, Leadership and PPD as well as opportunities for joint working with other departments, for example probation/nursing etc.
