Description
This framework is a retender for the supply and delivery of Interventional Radiology products including Balloons, Stents, Drains and Evar/Fevar/Tevar Kits along with a range of accessory products, awarded across a total of 18 Lots as a multi-supplier unranked award. The consumable products covered within this framework are for Interventional Radiology and will utilised within this field of practice by trained professionals. The application of these products within procedures will be used for image guidance and minimally invasive techniques in order to minimize risk to the patient.

17 | Innovation This Lot is unscored, and for items which are yet to be made available to the market within Interventional Radiology, but will become available over the duration of the framework. These items must be relevant to any of the items within Lots one (1) to fifteen (15). The Authority reserves the right to accept or decline any items submitted into this Lot onto the Framework. Suppliers are automatically awarded to this Lot if they have been successfully awarded to any of the other Lots one (1) to fifteen (15). | ||||||
18 | Commitment and Collaboration This Lot is for suppliers who have been awarded to one or more of the scored Lots (1-15) of this framework. Commitment and Collaboration Lot is unscored. Bidders should use this Lot to detail the means by which boards can achieve the best value for money in this commodity area through combining requirements across the Lots included. Bidders should consider occasions relevant to a single health board as well as to a collaboration of health boards across Scotland. Multiple offers are permitted. |
Renewal Options
The Authority is entitled at this sole discretion to extend the framework agreement by two (2) period of up to 12 months each by giving a minimum notice of three (3) months written notice.

Legal Justification
The total potential Framework period is 5 years (3 years + 2 x 12month extensions). The Framework term has been extended to allow time for product change and standardisation, opportunity for thehealth boards to consolidate, and for the market to stabilise.
