Description

NHS Coventry & Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) are awarding a contract for the provision of community dental services.

Total Quantity or Scope

This is for the award of a contract under Direct Award Process A. The neighbouring community dental service covering the remaining part of the Coventry and Warwickshire ICB was terminated on the 31st March 2024. The Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) who provide the equivalent service in Coventry and Rugby have made a decision to concentrate on their core mental health services and have ceased provision of a range of wider community health services. There is an urgent need to explore options to find a caretaker for this service and GEH is the only choice due to the lack of other providers and the existing joint working across the ICB. The lifetime value of this contract is £10,600,000.00 Services will be provided from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2029
