Description
The purpose of the service is for development of clinical care pathways and to house them in a maintained web-space. The websites are initially populated with unlocalised content from Base HealthPathways (or other HealthPathways Content) with localisation over time to ensure the content reflects the local context. The service will include; Programme management, site launch and branding, unique webpage hosting and administration of the system as part of business as usual.
Total Quantity or Scope
The service required is to be able to better identity and secure the care that patients require - this consists of the formatting and clinical editing of care pathways, and the development and maintenance of a single web-site for clinicians to access. The basis for a direct award of contract is that the Contracting Authority is seeking a single provider who can do this, and has only identified a single provider, who has a proven history of being able to deliver and maintain this.*Please note - V.2.1.1 Contract Signature Date is the date of the contract award decision and not the contract signature date.

Legal Justification
The market assessment has only identified a single provider who has the comprehensive range of readily available care pathways that can be localised to improve the needs of patients. This tool has over 1000 clinical pathways and will support the organisation with access to the latest global evidence and best practise by providing guidance on clinical assessments and treatments available. This will provide rapid and intensive support to how the delivery of care is integrated and can better secure the various care needs of patients. The tool contains over 600 conditions across 60 health systems across Australia, UK and New Zealand. By using this platform and joining an international community of collaborators, the Trust can easily and rapidly share established and tested content and also support the learning from shared ways of clinically collaborating and feedback from the wider healthcare community.
