This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.Urgency was due to short notice provided by NHSE and lack of resources available from the Trust to implement the required services at the CDC and the potential risk to patients of delaying implementation to follow a different procurement procedure.The contract award decision was made by Senior Commissioning, Contracts and Procurement Managers.There were no conflicts of interest.
