Description

The service provides a roving service with vehicle-based (Vaccination Van) and static where required outreach clinics offering Covid-19 vaccinations to the eligible population across the Black Country with the purpose of increasing Covid-19 vaccine uptake and targeting areas and patient cohorts that are underserved or vaccine hesitant. There is also be a requirement to offer opportunistic complimentary services that includes where clinically possible, the co-administration of the flu vaccine as permissible and encouraged and health and wellbeing checks and other vaccinations in potential partnership with other providers and localities where required.

Total Quantity or Scope

The service provides a roving service with vehicle-based (Vaccination Van) and static where required outreach clinics offering Covid-19 vaccinations to the eligible population across the Black Country with the purpose of increasing Covid-19 vaccine uptake and targeting areas and patient cohorts that are underserved or vaccine hesitant. There is also be a requirement to offer opportunistic complimentary services that includes where clinically possible, the co-administration of the flu vaccine as permissible and encouraged and health and wellbeing checks and other vaccinations in potential partnership with other providers and localities where required. This notice is confirmation of an award having been made due to an urgent circumstance. The lifetime value of this contract is expected to be £140,000. The service will be provided between 3rd October 2024 and 31st January 2025
