Description

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a single Provider to deliver an early intervention and prevention public health nursing service delivering health visiting and school nursing services in line with the Governments Healthy Child Programme (HCP). Bidders MUST be CQC registered and will have delivered public health nursing services in scope of this requirement within the last 5 years. They must have demonstrated continuous improvement in service delivery and have provided clinical and operational leadership where they operate. The contract will operate for an initial term of three years with an option to extend for up to a further two years in one 24 month increment. The primary aim of the service, as further described in the Specification and Specification Appendices, will be to support parents and carers to give children the best start in life, keeping their children healthy and safe and enabling them to reach their full potential. It will be delivered by multi-disciplinary Healthy Family Teams working in close partnership with the children's health, care, and early help system. It will be a universal service for all Nottinghamshire children, young people and their families aged 0 to 19 who are resident or attending school in Nottinghamshire. This will extend to children and young people aged under 25 where there are special education needs and disabilities. The Nottinghamshire Healthy Families Programme will include the delivery of: • Health visiting and school nursing services, • Mandated health and development reviews for children from 0 to 5, • The national child measurement programme (NCMP), • An early intervention offer for parents with additional vulnerabilities, and • The family nurse partnership programme. We invite Providers to review the attached tender documentation and submit bids accordingly.
