National Gas Transmission (NGT) is currently looking to understand the market for maintenance of its Compressor Acoustic Buildings (Cabs) which are located across ~21 sites in the United Kingdom. The purpose of this RFI is for NGT to better understand the expertise of contractors and their supply chain with regards to maintenance of compressor cabs. NGT is exploring market capabilities to create a robust, resilient strategy to drive value, develop long-term partnerships with key contractors, and to ensure safe, successful delivery of RIIO T-3. Current funding from OFGEM is indicating up to £100m for RIIO T-3. contract will not be awarded as a result of this RFI. This is not a formal tender process and is not being undertaken in accordance with the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016.
