Description

North Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as the "Council") wishes to invite Tender Responses for the Provision of Integrated Sexual Health Service in North Northamptonshire. The services will be accessible to all ages and provided at three levels, each offering different types of care and expertise. This ensures that individuals receive appropriate care based on their complexity of needs: Level 1 - Basic Sexual Health Services Level 2 - Intermediate Sexual Health Services; and Level 3 - Specialist Sexual Health Services

Total Quantity or Scope

This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £17,000,000. This is a new Contract however please note: following the formation of the unitary councils of North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) and West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) the councils agreed that both authorities would commission their own contract. The contract is now for North Northamptonshire Council only. This intention to award a contract will be the existing provider. The Council proposes to enter into one (1) Contract for an initial period of 48 months from 1st July 2025 with the preferred Potential Supplier until 30 June 2029, with an option to extend for 48 months, making 96 months ending 30th June 2033. The contract award criteria are specified in the procurement documents.

The Council proposes to enter into one (1) Contract for an initial period of 48 months with the preferred Potential Supplier, with an option to extend for 48 months, making 96 months in total. The Council seeks to commission a single supplier, group, or consortium who is/are technically capable and able to demonstrate relevant and recent experience in providing sexual health services in the public sector. A single Contract will be awarded by North Northamptonshire Council to the successful provider The contract for this project will be awarded via the Competitive Process, subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The contract award criteria are specified in the procurement documents. This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by Wednesday 18th December 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the PSR.'
