Project JUNO - Design, build and launch of a flight satellite in accordance with the requirements notified at Annex C to DEFFORM 47
Total Quantity or Scope
Schedule of Requirements (SOR) for Contract 707730450 Project JUNO Item 1 Flight Satellite (PFM) delivered in accordance with Schedule 15 – Annex C to DEFFORM 47 and SSTLs Technical Proposal in conjunction with Annex A to the Statement of Requirement (SOR) for Contract No. 707730450. Section 12.2 (HW-01) of the SOR at Annex A to Schedule 2 refers Item 2 Satellite Launch Services – Launch Procurement delivered in accordance with Schedule 15 – Annex C to DEFFORM 47 and SSTLs Technical Proposal in conjunction with Annex A to SOR requirement SSEG-SAT-10-020 for Contract No. 707730450. Section 7.1.10 of the SOR at Annex A to Schedule 2 refers. Item 3 Provide and implement a comprehensive Mission Training Plan which enables the Contacting Authority’s delegates to commission and operate the full suite of configurable items for the full mission lifecycle. To be delivered in accordance with Schedule 15 – Annex C to DEFFORM 47 and SSTLs Technical Proposal in conjunction with Annex A to Schedule 2 the SOR for Contract No. 707730450. Section 6.2.6 (MIS-M-6-010) of the SOR at Annex A to Schedule 2 refers. MOD Actors and stakeholders need to be suitably trained in sufficient time to operate the JUNO mission. Item 4 Mission delivery to be delivered in accordance with Schedule 15 – Annex C to DEFFORM 47 and SSTLs Technical Proposal in conjunction with Annex A to Schedule 2 the SOR for Contract No. 707730450. Section 6.2.4 (MIS-M-4-030) of the SOR at Annex A to Schedule 2 refers. Item 5 The supplier shall obtain all licenses (including Space, Spectrum) required for the launch, orbit and operations of all suppliers’ provisioned satellites, throughout the duration of the satellite’s life, and support MODs in their associated Licence applications. To be delivered in accordance with Schedule 15 – Annex C to DEFFORM 47 and SSTLs Technical Proposal in conjunction with Annex A to Schedule 2 the SOR for Contract No. 707730450. Section 6.2.4 (MIS-M-4-040) of the SOR at Annex A to Schedule 2 refers. Solution to comply with Outer Space Act, Space Industry Act, OFCOM (and ITU) licensing requirements. Item 6 Contract Option: Maintained Operations: The supplier shall operate the space segment and complete mission operations beyond the initial one year (costed on a per year basis) for a total of six one-year options. Item 7 Contract Option: Concurrent Ground Segments: The supplier shall implement concurrent MOD/Supplier operating/Integrated Ground Segments for a period of one year, on a per year basis. This option will operationalise, as Business-as-Usual, concurrent operations of the supplier and MOD ground segment Item 8 Contract Option: Concurrent Ground Segments – MOD Training: The supplier shall supervise MOD operators as they carry out JUNO Operations within the Supplier’s extant UK-located Ground Segment capability. SQEP and Security Cleared supplier personnel will support and supervise MOD operators as they carry out JUNO operations within the ISTARI Ground Segment for a period to be agreed. This option will ensure build-up of MOD Operator SQEP. Item 9 Contract Option: Support to MOD Operations: The supplier shall provide a costed proposal for one year’s support for space segment operation during the MOD Operated phase of the mission. This option is to provide reach-back support in the event that an anomaly is beyond the ability of MOD to correct/mitigate. Item 10 Contract Option: Satellite Disposal and End-of-Life: The supplier shall plan, conduct, and execute all tasks required to complete space segment disposal at End-of-Life. This option provides the assurance that the space segment is planned for and managed throughout its entire product lifecycle.

Renewal Options
