This is an Intention to Award Notice to award using the Most Suitable Provider Process to The Mote Medical Practice to deliver primary medical services in Staplehurst, Kent, as a branch surgery with the current patient list (by allocation while noting patient registration choice) from 1st April 2025.Please note in terms of the lifetime contract value advertised as this is a GMS contract, meaning it will be held in perpetuity the figure of £706, 680.04 is based on the annual value.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Mote Medical Practice to deliver primary medical services in Staplehurst, Kent, as a branch surgery with the current patient list (by allocation while noting patient registration choice) from 1st April 2025.The value of the contract per annum is £706, 680.04. The lifetime value of the contract cannot be calculated due to the GMS contract being held in perpetuity. The Mote Medical Practice are a new provider for the provision of primary medical services at the Staplehurst site, but they are an existing GMS Contract holder. The contract variation to the existing providers GMS contract will be effective from 1st April 2025. There is no end date as contract is in perpetuity.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 3rd January 2025.
