Description

HES require ongoing maintenance and preservation of the floodlighting hardware LED lighting systems at both Edinburgh and Stirling Castle. The system is due to be upgraded to a second version and we need to have continuity of supply and maintenance for this system going forward.

Total Quantity or Scope

This Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency (VEAT) Notice relates to the intended procurement of maintenance services and supplies for the floodlighting hardware LED lighting systems at both Edinburgh and Stirling Castle. The contract will run for 6 years.

Legal Justification

Historic Environment Scotland (HES) intends to award this contract under the conditions of regulation 33.b of the Public Contracts (Scotland) regulations 2015. The Contract will include both maintenance services and provision of goods for the LED floodlighting systems at Edinburgh and Stirling Castles. Both systems are manufactured by Philips and they have a specific approved partner for Scotland for maintaining the floodlighting system.
