Description

The requirement is for the manufacture and distribution of a range of Corporate Uniforms (incl. any bespoke fabrics required) in accordance with requirements and standards which will be set out in a provided Specification document. This will include the provision of uniform accessories (incl. name badges and lanyards), but there is no initial requirement for provision of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), footwear or kit bags. We also require a web-based platform with the ability to send and receive information relating to the supply of Corporate Uniforms as well as associated reporting functionality. If CrossCountry (XC) offer any extension of the contract, the uniform design will be reviewed to reflect market trends and Customer needs.

Total Quantity or Scope

XC Trains Limited (XC) will be conducting a competitive tender under the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 for the manufacture and supply of Corporate Uniforms and a Web Based Ordering Portal. The Supplier shall be responsible for the manufacture and distribution to XC a range of Corporate Uniforms, including the manufacture of any bespoke fabrics required with which to make the specified Garments. This will be done in accordance with requirements and standards which will be set out in a provided Specification document. If the contract is extended there will be a requirement to review the design and specification and take the opportunity to include emergent market trends and XC requirements in an updated uniform offering. The Supplier will also be responsible for the provision of uniform accessories which will include name badges and lanyards. The main volume of Garments will be bespoke, but there will also be a requirement for a limited number of off the shelf garments and accessories which must be branded as XC items. There is no initial requirement for provision of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), footwear or kit bags. The Supplier shall provide and maintain a web-based platform that provides XC users with the ability to send and receive information relating to the supply of Corporate Uniforms in accordance with the requirements and standards set out in the provided Specification document. This platform must have reporting functionality to deliver insight, understanding of ordering/usage and Supplier performance. The Supplier may be required to provide short-term continuation of current uniform garments (bespoke and non-bespoke) as part of the mobilisation period. XC will have approximately 1,760 wearers of Corporate Uniform across twelve delivery locations and eight different roles including Drivers, Train Guards, Caterers, Cleaners and Service Centers (warehouses).

Renewal Options

Details of this will be shared in the main tender document. Two optional extensions of 24 months each (48 months in total) up to a maximum of 12-Oct-2031.
