Description
The chronic migraine service is provided by Neecare Health Care LtdThe service undertakes clinical management of chronic migraine for patients who suffer persistent headache.Neecare chronic migraine service provides clinical intervention for the management of chronic migraine by administering Botulinum injection including regular therapy.Patients are referred by Neurologist having been diagnosed with Chronic Migraine and meet NICE Guidelines for Botulinum Injection administration.To confirm, as per the PSR direct award process C, the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract, delivering a good service, meeting all KPIs, with no quality concerns with very good feedback from Clinicians and patients and are likely to satisfy the new contract, The proposed contracting arrangements are not changing from the existing contract.

This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C. This contract has now been formally awarded using Direct Award Process CThe contract award date is 27/12/2024 and the standstill period took place between 12th December 2024 to 24th December 2024. The business case including recommendation to award the contract under Provider Selection Process C was approved by the ICB's Strategic Finance and Commissioning Committee on the 22nd of November 2024 and there were no recorded or potential conflicts of Interest of individuals making the decision declared at this meeting. The services is intended to be provided between 1st April 2025 and 31st March 2026 with the contract structured as one year plus an optional one year extension. The maximum value of the new contract is £77.748 per annum should the optional extension be used, the maximum contract value for the 2 years period is £155,496.
