Description
The aim of the Children and Young People's (C&YP) Emotional Health and Wellbeing (EHWB) Service is to help improve the EHWB of C&YP across Staffordshire. This will be achieved by providing an Early Intervention and Prevention model of support to meet the Mild to Moderate Mental Health needs of C&YP. The Service will use Evidence-Based approaches to: • Promote good EHWB for C&YP and their Families. • Prevent EHWB difficulties from occurring or getting worse. • Provide interventions and support when C&YP and their Families need them. The Service will be delivered by a staff team of suitably trained, knowledgeable and experienced Personnel, who will deliver a range of Evidence-based Interventions in line with the most recent best practice recommendations, such as National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
Total Quantity or Scope
This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process. The lifetime value of the contract is £3,888,640. The service will commence 1 of April 2025 to 31 March 2027, with an option to extend 2 x 12 months to 31 March 2029. This is an existing service. This is a new provider. Additional information: Staffordshire County Council in partnership with Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent (SSOT) Integrated Care Board (ICB) are to award this Service by a competitive process under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. II2.5 The contract award criteria are specified in the procurement documents.

Key criteria 2 Value The Pricing schedule and ITT question regarding the service delivery model ensured the service will deliver Value for Money , benefit service users and achieve desired outcomes. The provider can deliver a service to a far greater number of children and young people across all service elements. Key criteria 3 Integration, collaboration and service sustainability ITT questions referred to delivery model and service implementation . The provider has satisfactorily demonstrated they are able to meet demand and work in partnership with key stakeholders. Key criteria 4 Improving Access, reducing health inequalities, and facilitating choice ITT questions referred to delivery model and vulnerability. The provider has demonstrated they are able to deliver an accessible, inclusive service that reduces health inequalities and is inclusive to children and young people with a range of vulnerabilities Key criteria 5 Social Value ITT question referred to social value. The provider has demonstrated a satisfactory understanding and knowledge of how they will deliver social value and contribute to improving the social, economic and environmental conditions in Staffordshire .
