Description
The equipment will set out to explore the prevalence of dark oxygen production at the deep seafloor. To do this, we will require benthic chamber lander platforms that can measure seafloor oxygen fluxes. This types of lander platform required is where the benthic chamber remains closed during the deployment. The benthic chamber lander requires three chambers, including stirrers and syringe samplers, with all components rated to 12,000m. It is well known within the industry (deep-sea biogeochemistry) that this niche closed benthic chamber lander platform can only be supplied by K.U.M. Kiel GmbH.
