Description

Supply and maintenance of Revenues and Benefits software that is compliant with all statutory functions and local policy requirements, associated with the delivery of local authority revenues and benefits services, i.e. Council Tax, Business Rates, Debt Recovery, Housing Benefits, Council Tax Support, Housing Benefit Overpayments recovery, with online, digital and automation capabilities that enable ongoing transformation, operational efficiencies and improved customer experience.

Legal Justification

As part of our Transformation Programme, the Company wanted to align to one contract for the 3 Councils, instead of having separate instances. The cost to move to another system would have been costly and would have incurred additional training and resources required which is not currently viable. By entering into this 5-year agreement, this allows the Company to have continuity of a system for a period of time whilst being able to look forward and plan for any future procurement with adequate time.
