Description
NHS Hampshire and the Isle of Wight intend to commission No Limits to provide Emergency Department (ED) Youth Workers. Their core functions is to provide specialist youth work-based interventions, based on support needs at the time. The service equips young people with more skills and knowledge to look after and manage their mental health and address some of the wider personal and social factors that may have led to their attendance. The service connects young people into wider offers for brief interventions and longer-term support, including specialist services e.g. housing, substance misuse, debt advice, vulnerable groups as well as mental health support.

NHS Hampshire and the Isle of Wight intend to commission No Limits to provide Emergency Department (ED) Youth Workers for the total lifetime value of £914,000 between 01 April 2025 and 31 March 2028. … This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by midnight on 28th March 2025 .
