Speech and Language Therapy for children in mainstream and special schools in East Sussex. Under the PSR Direct Award C "incumbent provider" this is necessary to direct award a short term contract to ensure continuity of care and provision to vulnerable children whilst substantive recruitment continues.

This notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR award Process 1C Representations should be sent via email to kcht.contracts@nhs.net Award decision makers are Director of Specialist, Strategic Lead West Kent and Head of Service - School Health and Children's Integrated Therapies and Equipment There were no conflicts of interest. Due to continued local recruitment challenges, Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust has identified a continued clinical risk to children and therefore intends to direct award this contract to the existing incumbent supplier set out above, in order to ensure continued safe provision of service to a vulnerable cohort of children whilst recruitment to substantive posts continues.
