Description
NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board are intending to award Breathing Space Service to Bath Mind following the outcome of a most suitable provider process under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Most Suitable Provider Process.
Total Quantity or Scope
This notice is placed as an intention to award to inform the market that NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board ("BSW") are intending to award the Breathing Space Service to Bath Mind following the outcome of under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, Most Suitable Provider Process. The aim of the Mental Health Place of Calm Service in Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES) is to operate as a space for individuals who are suffering from mental health issues or emotional distress to be able to visit and receive immediate support. The service is aimed at anyone who is at risk of a mental health crisis or who is struggling to manage their mental wellbeing and would benefit from professional support. In line with the Provider Selection Regime regulations and the process undertaken (Most Suitable Provider) the following notice was previously published: F01: Prior Information Notice - 2025/S 000-002860 The lifetime value of the contract is expected to be £211,693. This is an existing service and will be delivered by an existing provider. It is anticipated that the contract will be in place until 31st March 2026. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.

Legal Justification
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by midnight, 1st April 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
