Description
This relates to services provided to children who have received a Child in Need assessment under section 17 of the Children Act 1989. Lot Division
1 | Provision of group activities and outreach a) Group provision- Offering a range of group activities for children and young people which includes opportunities for social inclusion and enrichment within the community with other children and young people. This may include increased provision during school holidays in line with the child's assessed needs. b) Outreach- Offering 1:1 (or staffing ration in line with assessed need) support to children and young people within the community (or home setting if required) to work towards outcomes identified within the support plan. Where shared outreach services (2:1 child: staff ratio, or other suitable ratios) would be beneficial to children and young people these may be agreed through Stockton on Tees Borough Council's panel process, subject to risk assessment and agreement with the council.
