Description

Public Health England (PHE) is seeking to purchase a bespoke Vibratome for use in one of our Labs. The Vibratome also known as a tissue slicer should be a vibrating microtome for cutting tissue slices. It should be fully automated with an ability to cut slices in 1 μm increments, and tissue thicknesses ranging from 4 μm to 1000 μm. It should have a fixed angle blade holder attachment and an Auto Zero-Z® technology reducing z-axis deflection to less than1 μm. Part of this package should include a flexible LED spotlight lamp and a starter kit.
